Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh visited the Dhu Bab al-Mandab district, to inspect the conditions of citizens in the district and to inaugurate a central water project.
During the visit, in which he was accompanied by the Governor of Taiz Governorate, Nabil Shamsan, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh met the crowds of citizens who gathered to receive him, where he delivered a speech in which he praised the national role of the people of the district in confronting the Houthi militias and supporting the joint forces during the liberation operations until now and prayed for the souls of the martyrs of the homeland and the martyrs of the Arab coalition, including the soldiers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, who rose in the battle to liberate Dhu Bab and secure Bab al-Mandab, one of the most important sea straits in the world.
He said, "The brothers in the Arab coalition have been supporting and aiding Yemen in confronting the Iranian project," stressing that the Joint Forces with all their formations, including the Giants, the Lions of Tihama, and the National Resistance will preserve these gains and remain vigilant to deter all Iranian and Houthi threats to Bab al-Mandab.. calling on the sons of Dhu Bab al-Mandab to rally behind the joint forces in preserving the security of the Bab al-Mandab Strait, which he described as "the lung in which the world breathes from east to west."
Brigadier General Tariq Saleh announced the inauguration of central Dhu Bab al-Mandab water project, in which work will start in the coming days. He pointed out that the Dhu Bab district had more than 16 various service and development projects achieved by the Emirates Red Crescent and the joint forces and he will again work with his colleagues in the Leadership Council, to give the vital area of Dhu Bab al-Mandab all care and attention, and to promote development and services there.
